Governor Rochas Owelle Okorocha of Imo State on Friday said that no one can cage him politically.
The governor in an assertion to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, was reacting to an assertion credited to the Imo All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders led by Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.
Okorocha disclosed that he was caged by Araraume’s group within the workplace of the National Chairman of APC, John Oyegun and that of the National Orgarnizing Secretary, Osita Izunaso.
The assertion reads partially: “The so- called Imo stakeholders can only “cage” Governor Rochas Okorocha like they've claimed within the media within the workplaces of the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun and the National Organising Secretary of the Party, Chief Osita Izunaso.
“Who are on vendetta mission in opposition to the governor over his harmless and patriotic stand on the problem of tenure elongation.
“And in any case solely ingrates can declare caging the person God used to uplift them politically.
“All these within the bancrupt group known as coalition are all beneficiaries of Okorocha’s political successes in Imo.
