Erhiatake Ibori, the daughter of former Delta State Governor James Ibori, won the Ethiope West Constituency into the Delta State House of Assembly. Erhiatake who contested on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) polled 32,700 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate who scored 1,709 votes while the Labour Party candidate recorded 1,429 votes.
