The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris has changed the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Andie Undie with Bala Ciroma.
This is following the current assaults that led to killing of scores of individuals in some villages of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area and the skirmishes alongside Anguldi in Jos South Local Government Area of the State.
Ciroma was the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID) FCT Abuja.
As said by a press assertion issued by the Plateau Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mathias Terna Tyopev, Ciroma was one time Head of Operations, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and has labored in all six geopolitical zones of the nation and in all departments within the Nigerian Police Force.
The assertion famous that the Yobe state born CP, graduated from University of Maiduguri in 1988 and joined the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent police on the third of March 1990.
