It seems disaster within the Imo chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is much from ending as stakeholders on Thursday mentioned Governor Rochas Okorocha was politically irrelevant.
The group made this assertion after assembly with the APC nationwide management in Abuja.
Dr Theo Ekechi, who spoke on behalf of the stakeholders, mentioned that they had many proof towards Okorocha.
“There have been wide jubilation in Imo because we have rescued the party from Gov. Okorocha, we have made it impossible for him to get help from anywhere,” he mentioned.
“He can't run to any political determine within the state as a result of none is with him, he can't strategy any clergyman within the state.
“In his desperation, he ran to Sokoto, Daura and even to the Vice President, but help has refused to come.”
According to him, Okorocha was liable for the issues going through the party within the state and the South-East.
In a petition submitted to the party nationwide management, the stakeholders chronicled what they described because the governor’s sins and appealed for state of emergency within the state.
