The Spain international has warned that his former team-mate Alexis Sanchez 'can create problems' at Camp Nou on Wednesday
Andres Iniesta believes Barcelona need to be wary of Alexis Sanchez in their Champions League last-16 return leg against Arsenal.
Lionel Messi’s double at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg has given the Spanish champions a two-goal cushion heading into Wednesday’s fixture at Camp Nou, but Iniesta believes his former team-mate could “create problems”.
“Arsenal have a big squad but, because of his history with Barcelona, Alexis is the key man we have to look out for,” Iniesta told the Sunday Mirror.
“He’s a big footballer and showed his level when he played for Barca. But it’s not easy at this club to be first-choice striker. He has a lot of quality and can create problems.
“I’m convinced our fans will give him a great reception. But from minute one on the pitch, it will be different. That’s logical.”
