Matteo Darmian has been stretchered off during Manchester United's clash with Norwich, joining Anthony Martial on the sidelines and throwing his Euro 2016 hopes in doubt.
The Italian full-back, starting on the left of United's defence against the Canaries, went down in the first 10 minutes of the Premier League clash.
After a lengthy period of treatment, during which referee Craig Pawson gave the medical staff significant time to deal with the injury, Darmian was eventually carried away on a wheeled stretcher.
The injury to the defender came hot on the heels of a knock for Martial during the warm-up, the second such problem the Frenchman has sustained in three months.
Darmian's injury will be of great concern to Italy coach Antonio Conte ahead of the European Championship, with the Azzurri having already lost the likes of Claudio Marchisio and Marco Verratti to injuries. - Goal
