Two Iranian nationals are accused of trying to import 10 kilograms of methamphetamine hidden in honey jars on a cargo flight to Australia.
Mehdi Solhi, 28, and Meysam Falahati Roshanagh, 31, appeared before Sydney's Central Local Court on Thursday, charged with importing a commercial quantity of methamphetamine.
The two men were arrested by Australian Federal Police on Wednesday following an operation sparked by a drug seizure in Turkey last October.

The AFP says 1.8kg of methamphetamine, bound for an address in Granville, was seized by authorities in Turkey in 2017, prompting the Australian operation.
The pair did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
Falahati Roshanagh will next appear at Central Local Court on March 7, while Solhi is scheduled to face the same court on May 9.
