Another purportedly official image of Aston Martin’s new DB11 sports coupe has appeared online about a month prior to the car’s world debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

As with the previous photo, this one too comes courtesy of our Dutch friends at Autojunk and it reveals the front end of the car that will directly replace the DB9, which has been in production since 2004, itself being the successor to the DB7.

Like we’ve said several times before, one should always take these types of “leaked” photos with a grain of salt in regards to their authenticity, however, what we've here matches what we’ve seen in recent spy shots, with the DB11 having a broader stance and more muscular curves than the DB10 hero car from the Bond movie ‘Spectre’.

The fresh sheetmetal covers a newly developed bonded aluminum chassis with a lightweight suspension, while power at launch is believed to come from an also new  twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 instead of the naturally aspirated 5.9-liter of the DB9, producing close to 600 horses, with AMG-sourced V8s to likely join the range down the line.

Aston’s collaboration with Daimler will also give the DB11 an all-new electrical architecture, including modern infotainment, safety and comfort systems, and possibly even a fully-digital instrument panel with similar tech to that used on the latest Mercedes models, as prototypes of the car have been spied sporting S-Class-style clusters.
