Stan Kroenke has agreed to buy a Texas ranch for £500m, prompting fury from several fans who have watched their club strugge to attract marquee stars in recent years
Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has risked the ire of Gunners fans by agreeing to buy a ranch in Texas for a staggering $750 million.
Arsene Wenger recently expressed his disappointment at failing to sign a marquee star in the January transfer window, with Mohamed Elneny the only player to join the club.
As such, Kroenke's decision to spend half a billion pounds on the largest ranch in America, which is bigger than the area of Greater London, has drawn furious reactions from the Emirates faithful.
Famous fan Piers Morgan posted an enraged tweet, suggesting that Kroenke merely saved the transfer funds for himself, while another suggested the 68-year-old should depart the club.
Arsenal's Supporters Trust recently called on the club's hierarchy to freeze season ticket prices, with the Gunners currently charging the most of any club in the Premier League at £2,013.
