Gboyega Isiaka
A former gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Gboyega Isiaka, has formally joined the African Democratic Party (ADC).
Welcoming Isiaka to the party, nationwide chairman of ADC, Ralph Nwosu, mentioned on Friday that the fortunes of the party had improved since May when the Coalition for Nigerian Movement (CNM) adopted it as a platform.
Nwosu, who acknowledged this in Abeokuta at a press convention organised to obtain Isiaka to the party, mentioned the party had been “a small, road-side and a corner-shop party” till it was adopted by the CNM.
The ADC chairman stated that the pioneer members confronted a lot of difficulties in constructing the party since 2006 when it was shaped.
Nwosu stated that the party was poised to construct a continental model by way of the supply of a role-modelling management.
Earlier in his handle, Isiaka mentioned he resigned his membership of the PDP because of the intractable disaster throughout the Ogun chapter of the party.
He described the ADC as a party whose philosophy is devoid of retrogressive politics, including that “ADC believes in human capital growth and dignity of residents.”
