Israel is detaining half a dozen children of African migrants whose moms are awaiting deportation, the Maariv newspaper reported on Thursday.

Marcy, a Nigerian mom who arrived in Israel in 2010, stated that she and her 4 children had been at Givon for over three weeks.

Marcy stated that she selected jail over deportation again to Nigeria as a result of she hopes her eldest son can get medical remedy in Israel for his extreme bronchial asthma that he couldn't obtain in Africa.
“If they would just give me one more year for my son to get treatment… after that we’ll leave,” she said.
Marcy’s husband was deported to Nigeria final 12 months.
