Giving the D-Max an SUV-like appearance, this new Alpha Type-E Canopy has recently been added to this model's accessories list and will set you back £1,381.
The Alpha Type-E Canopy has been described as stylish, strong, reliable and durable by its manufacturer, which it would have to be, since Isuzu thinks that it makes the D-Max look a little bit like the popular MU-X SUV.
The canopy, developed specifically to fit any double cab D-Max, is color matched to the body color of the pick-up, whereas gloss black rear pillars serve to compliment the tinted windows all around the canopy - giving the truck an nearly wrap-around glass appearance when viewed from the rear.
Other features include a heated rear window, an auto interior light and central locking, providing security and peace of mind for D-Max owners.
Concerning its more utilitarian functions, the hard-top canopy comes with brushed alloy roof bars, which increase versatility, while the reinforced tailgate frame with twin smooth-lift gas struts allows for easy access into the truck's load bed.
As of right now, an entry-level D-Max 2.5 4x4 double cab model (compatible with the new canopy) will set UK customers back around £22,442.
