Ostersunds boss Graham Potter says he is still in a state of shock after witnessing his goalkeeper Aly Keita being attacked by a masked man in a top-flight match in Sweden on Monday.
Potter's men were chasing a winning goal against Jonkoping Sodra when the intruder ran onto the pitch and jumped on Keita, before being arrested by security guards.
The affair was soon called off by the referee with the game tied at 1-1 as Keita was “not fit” to carry on playing, according to match delegate Nicklas Bengtsson.
And former West Brom and Stoke City defender Potter has since opened up about the “disturbing” incident, saying he has never “witnessed anything like it before”.
