In the third round of the Delta Distance Challenge, Branislav Ivanovic’s successful total passing distance of 529 metres put him nearest to the 627m target - the distance of the concourse at the New York Mets’ Citi Field.
The right-back was Chelsea’s third most-prolific passer against Tottenham on Monday night, with Cesar Azpilicueta leading the way on 864m.
Cesc Fabregas went close on 760m and Nemanja Matic (442m) was also in the reckoning, but Ivanovic was nearest the target at the home of baseball’s Mets with his 31 successful passes.
The winner of the third round of the Delta Distance Challenge will receive two tickets to a game at Stamford Bridge.
All successful entrants will also go into the end-of-season Grand Prize draw to win a pair of Delta One business class tickets to New York City, with five runners up receiving a signed Chelsea shirt.
The next Challenge closes at kick-off on Wednesday, May 11 when Chelsea take on Liverpool at Anfield - make sure you enter for another opportunity to win flights to the Big Apple with Delta Air Lines.
