Football fans are already hotly anticipating a Hollywood film of Jamie Vardy’s rise from non-league player to title-winner, but first they can read about his remarkable story in an upcoming autobiography.
The Leicester City forward, who has lead the club’s scoring charts en route to an incredible 5000-1 Premier League title victory, scored in a record-breaking 11 straight games and even established himself as part of Roy Hodgson’s England squad after a whirlwind few years.
The likes of Andy Serkis, Danny Dyer and even Vardy himself have been linked with playing the 29-year-old on the big screen, though he has promised to reveal plenty of unknown facts about his life in a book that will be released in October.

"Rejected as a teenager by his boyhood club Sheffield Wednesday, Jamie thought his chances had gone," reads the blurb.
"But from playing pub football and earning £30 a week at Stocksbridge Park Steels while working in a factory, his impressive performances and hard work saw him rise again."
Another contender to play Vardy in the movie is doppelganger Lee Chapman, a Leicester fan and postman who has gained infamy for his resemblance to the 22-goal striker.

The club went out for lunch on Tuesday to celebrate their marvellous title win, and stopped by the stadium to see the hordes of fans who had gathered outside the stadium.
Among them was Vardy lookalike Chapman, who was invited onto the team bus to take selfies with the players and his favourite player, Vardy, who he is even the same age and height as.
The rest of the squad clearly took great delight in the similarities between the two men, while Chapman was overcome with emotion.
"I’ve not slept. I went in for work at 6.30am and ran my round so I could be here outside the stadium," he told The Guardian.
"I’m still supposed to be at work now! I’m not even a confident lad. I’m lost for words at the fact Leicester have won. I’m a Leicester-born, Leicester-raised, Leicester fan."
