Amazon owner and world’s richest human, Jeff Bezos has added $13 Billion to his fortune in only 15 minutes, sealing his spot as the richest human being alive.
After a recent Amazon news release for the fourth quarter showed that sales increased by 21 percent during the holiday quarter on Thursday, it boosted the stock by about 12% to $2,100 after-hours trading, adding $12.8 billion to Jeff’s already hefty fortune in about 15 minutes.
At the present price, Bezos traded places with Bill Gates for the title of the richest person in the World in recent months. He is currently worth $128.9 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The late surge Thursday also added over $90 billion to Amazon’s market value, taking it above $1 trillion.
