The West Ham striker is set to follow the likes of Ramires and Alex Teixeira to Asia after the Hammers agreed a £1.5 million fee with the Chinese second division outfit
Nikica Jelavic is poised to complete a move to Chinese second division club Beijing Renhe from West Ham after making just one Premier League appearance for the Hammers.
Despite reports of a £4 million fee, Goal understands that the two clubs have agreed a deal worth £1.5m, with the Croatia international leaving Upton Park just five months after joining from Hull City.
Jelavic is set to earn around £9m in wages in China, and becomes the latest player to depart Europe for Asia.
The likes of Ramires, Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira have moved to the Chinese top-flight in recent months, with Jelavic the latest addition.
The 30-year-old's move ends a four-year stay in England, with Jelavic also playing for Everton and Hull in the Premier League.
