John Terry has revealed that he wears three pairs of football boots... for every game.
The Chelsea captain is known for his superstitions, which includes using the same urinal before every match.
“I wear a pair to warm up in, a pair for the first half and a pair for the second half,” Terry told Soccer AM.
“After that, they are gone, I never wear them again.
"When they get a little bit stretchy, that little bit big, I feel you lose that little bit of touch, which is why I get new ones."
Asked how long he has been doing it, Terry replied: “Three years, Nike aren’t happy!
“I give a lot of boots to Make a Wish for their foundation, so they can sell them and auction them off, we’ve got a lot of fans at the end of the season, during the season, I’ll give them to fans and mascots, just something memorable to take home from the game.”...
