Former President, Goodluck Jonathan and former military leader Ibrahim Babangida on Wednesday met at the latter’s Uphill home in Minna, Niger State.
Jonathan, who came to Niger by road, arrived IBB’s home at about 10am in an entourage of six black Prado Jeeps.
A source told The Nation that the meeting was attended by a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2019 gubernatorial aspirant in the state, Alhaji Hanafi Muazu Sudan.
The meeting lasted almost two hours and Jonathan drove out of Babangida’s home at 12:47pm.
The details of the two leaders discussion could not be ascertained, but it might not be unconnected to the 2019 general elections.
