N'Golo Kante thanked Eden Hazard for his hand in Leicester City's Premier League title win after joining Chelsea last month.
The Belgian scored only his third goal of the season as Chelsea fought back from two goals down to end Tottenham's title charge and confirm a shock league triumph for the Foxes.
Kante, who was voted Leicester City's Player of the Year at the end of the season, joined Chelsea in a £30 million move last month and was quick to thank his new team-mate for scoring the title-clinching goal.
He told the club's official website: "I was with the team at Jamie Vardy's house, and when we saw Chelsea losing 2-0 at half-time against Tottenham, we said: 'Now we have to be ready for the Everton game.' But at the end this was a very good night.
"When I saw Eden Hazard here at Chelsea I said to him: 'You maybe do not know, but everyone thanks you.'"
