February 29; that's the date Ken Block's Gymkhana Eight will be released, inevitably taking over the internet and now we know what the YouTube star will be driving.
For the latest Gymkhana film, Block will be returning to his roots onboard a custom Ford Fiesta ST with 650 hp. Strangely, this will be his main car for Gymkhana Eight rather than the bespoke 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 RS he unveiled late the previous year. Perhaps the Escort will make a special appearance in the new video...
Either way, Hoonigan Racing have gone all out to ensure Block's Fiesta is worthy of replacing the Hoonicorn Ford Mustang of Gymkhana 7. To do this, the car has been installed with a set of custom wheels and most significantly, a bespoke wrap that incorporates numerous reflective elements which change colour depending on how light hits the car.
Considering that the livery seems to glow in the dark, one can assume that Gymkhana Eight will include some high-paced scenes filmed at night.
