Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp refused to answer a question from a journalist working for The Sun following his side's pre-season win over Barcelona on Saturday.
Strikes from Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Marko Grujic, as well as an own goal from Javier Mascherano, saw the Reds blast their way past the Spanish champions in the International Champions Cup.
But when approached in the press conference after the game by a reporter from the English tabloid, Klopp opted against answering their question.
Liverpool supporters have boycotted The Sun since their coverage of the Hillsborough disaster in 1989 but the German did not specify exact reasons for his policy.
“I don't talk with The Sun anymore,” said Klopp. “I don't speak with The Sun anymore. You can listen.
“It's not because I'm with Liverpool now. It's because of a few things that will happen in the next few days or few weeks, I don't know.
“It's not personal. You're still working for The Sun, right? That's it. You can listen and you can write what you want.”
