Kogi State joint ticket owner with late Prince Abubakar Audu on All Progressive Congress (APC) for the November 21 governorship election, Hon James Abiodun Faleke, over the weekend reiterated his determination to pursue the ambition to a logical conclusion.
Hon Faleke who made the assertion on his resolve to see that justice is done on the joint ticket matter, during the 40-day fidau prayer for Prince Abubakar at Ogbonicha, Ofu Local government in Kogi State stressed that when the court decides any day on the matter he had no fear that he would claim the mandate.
As stated by Faleke, “the Ebira people have approached me several times to agree to be deputy to Yahaya Bello, so that next time it would be the reverse order, so that West and Central would cling on to power but I told them that if it was their time such thing happen will they agree.”
He said they made several overtures to him including money to entice him but according to Tinubu tutored politician he also has seen some money, he has known some persons and has traveled to see things himself, noting that on Audu/Faleke ticket he stands, no more, no less.
He stated that those who are saying that he had not officially made his rejection of being deputy to Yahaya Bello public are in illusion and they will be disillusioned pointing out that several national newspapers have carried the rejection advert after submitting to party head office which is the normal process.
Faleke urged the all supporters of Audu to remain calm and law abiding citizens as the matter in a court is procedural, adding that even if the matter drags to Supreme Court, “at the end of it all, justice shall be ours.
