Stars from Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona have all been nominated for the award which was won by Arsenal's Mesut Ozil last year
In May 2016 Germany will crown their "2016 Football Ambassador" honouring players and trainers working abroad with 11 players nominated for the prize this year and with Goal Germany a media partner.
Arsenal forward Mesut Ozil scooped the award last year with Sami Khedira and Andre Schurrle the other winners from the 2015 vote.
This year there are 11 nominees including four from the Premier League with Emre Can, Robert Huth, Per Mertesacker and Bastian Schweinsteiger all up for the award as well as Liverpool Ladies defender Corina Schröder.
The other nominees are from across Europe and include goalkeepers Marc André ter Stegen and Kevin Trapp as well as strikers Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose.
The award reflects those who engage in sporting activities and represent a positive image of their home country with the ceremony taking place in Berlin and attended by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
