A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has stated that he will remain in the party even if he doesnβt get the partyβs ticket.
Speaking to newsmen after obtaining his expression of interest and nomination forms on Friday, he also said if the partyβs leadership agreed on consensus, he would abide by the decision.
Kwankwaso said: βI donβt think anything will happen differently if I am not the winner at the primary.
βConsensus is the best under normal circumstances but some aspirants may prefer to go for the primaries and get one vote.
βIf our leaders come together and say this is a consensus candidate, I will abide by it.β
