Death toll from the Lagos plane that crashed this morning has risen to 16, while there are only 4 survivors, official stated.
The charter plane, which crashed at 11:50 local time, was stated to have 20 people on board when it suffered engine failure shortly after takeoff from Lagos today, crash-landing near an airport fuel depot and killing at least 16.
"There were 20 people on board, 13 passengers and 7 crew [members]," stated Joe Obi, spokesman for Nigeria's Aviation Ministry.
