A neon green Huracan has been granted the first private hire cab license in the UK by the Wolverhampton Council.
The Italian exotic can be booked for any journey at a price of £349 (~$500) for 1.5 hours and will be used to drive people around the Black Country, as BirminghamMail reports.
"Not a normal taxi price at £349 for 1.5 hours but then again not quite a normal taxi at £198,000.00. With prom season approaching see if the Lambo is available for son or daughters prom and have the piece of mind your child will be in a fully licensed and insured vehicle", wrote SpecialWeddingCars on its FB page.
The firm had previously used a 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo for special occasions and it also has a range of London taxis and double-decker busses, but the Huracan is their most sought-after set of wheels. No surprise there; who wouldn't want a ride with a supercar powered by a screaming 5.2-liter V10 with 601 HP (610 PS) that'll hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 3.2 seconds?
