The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(lastma) has sacked 24 of its officers in the last two years due to misconducts.
This was revealed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the agency Christian Olakpe over the weekend where he said it also lost about 10 personnel,” the agency’s boss told the News Agency of Nigeria over the weekend.
“We initiated LASTMA Response Unit to carry out investigations on such complaints. The Provost Unit was created to mete out punishment on any of them found guilty.
“We have (so far) dismissed 24 personnel in the last two years as a result of corruption, abuse of office, extortion, impropriety and other misconduct.”
