This friend and former coursemate of mine is sure going places... 🙂 The Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos, Akoka, will come alive on Sunday, March 15, when the debut edition of the long awaited 'The Lemuel Iyalla Classic' Concert in Mars, takes centre stage. In a chat with The Entertainer, the founder of the concert which celebrates classical music, Lemuel Iyalla, disclosed that the concert will feature comedy performances among other side attractions. Commenting on the benefits of listeneing to classical music, Iyalla said: "The benefits of classical music cannot be quantified. Among others it lowers your blood pressure according to a British study and it relieves your stress levels according to a Taiwanese study. Also, it helps fight depression and manage pain according to a Glasgow University Study while a Dutch study revealed that it improves your sleep quality. Classical music makes you more at ease and open with yourself according to Edinburgh University Study. Finally, it enhances mental alertness and memory according to a Northumbria University study. "I am therefore inviting you to The Lemuel Iyalla Classic Concert in Mars, slated for March 15, 2015, at the University of Lagos Main Auditorium, from 6pm.
