The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state has won all the 27 chairmanship seats in Saturday’s local government elections in the southeast state.
It was the first time in seven years the electoral body in the state, State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), conducted an election.
Chairman of the electoral umpire, Ethelbert Ebebuchi, announced the results at the agency’s headquarters in Owerri on Sunday.
