Lindsay Lohan is undergoing a total image re-haul.
The 30-year-old actress has wiped most of her social media accounts clean shortly after posting a war poem she penned about the plight of Syrian refugees on Instagram.
Lindsay's camp explained to DailyMail exclusively that the Mean Girls star is 'in a period of renewal, and is very excited for what the new year holds.'
The starlet voiced: 'I am so excited for this new chapter in my life!'

A few months ago, the red headed beautywho turned her life upside down and spent time volunteering in the war-torn country of Turkeytransitioned to a new management team.
The team is assisting the once controversial starlet in her mission to refashion herselfà la actress-turned-aid-worker Angelina Jolie.
Her manager Scott Carlsen said of the changes Lohan is making: 'We are extremely happy here at team Lohan, thrilled to see everybody's reactions over the next year as we have some big projects lined up.'

The Liz & Dick actress told CNN on Facebook Live that in between business ventures, she will mainly spend her time in Turkey volunteering, and in Dubai creating her own production company.
Lohan will next be seen in the upcoming horror-crime film The Shadow Within, and is beginning a new 'very important' project in April.
She said of the flick: 'It shows how you can find love in the darkest places.'
In the same interview she also revealed that she's still urgently pushing for a Mean Girls 2, unfortunately to no avail thus far.
Though the new year is looking bright, 2016 was tumultuous for The Parent Trap star, to say the least.

Lohan didn't skip a beat and was quick to return to her humanitarian work of aiding Syrian refugees.
It was nearly 10 years ago that the blue-eyed beauty was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in May and then again for the possession of cocaine in July of the same year.
It seems that a decade has done Lohan a lot of good as she's made a complete 180, and perhaps a clean slate on social media will assist her ongoing transformation.
