Lola Alao is already wrapping up work on the premiere of her latest movie entitled Suuru Ni, which will premier in Abuja on Thursday, October 8, at Sheraton Hotel & Towers.
“Suuri Ni is all about people, and mothers in particular, facing challenges. I want to tell them that change is the only constant thing in life so they should hold on and not give up. And the only way I can pass this message is to do it through my movie. The movie was shot in Hollywood California, Las Vegas and Paris”
At the premiere, she said she's expecting “a lot of people, government people, politicians and of course my colleagues.”
Lola, who has over a dozen tattoos on her body, also took time to comment on her tattoos.
“I got my tattoos initially because I wanted to shoot a movie and after that I just fell in love with them. The one on my left shoulder is Praise, which is my daughter’s name. I have so many,” she says pointing at a bright tattoo on her left arm.
What do tattoos mean to her? “Nothing, I was just having fun when I did them and I don’t have any regrets. My most important tattoo is my daughter’s name. They are all permanent. I have no regrets about my tattoos. I only learn from my mistakes. The secret to my success is God.”
