The Spanish coach has been linked to bringing a number of his former Barcelona charges to Manchester City when he assumes control of the Premier League club in the summer
Luis Enrique does not fear Manchester City's appointment of Pep Guardiola will prompt an exodus of Barcelona players moving to join the coach at the Etihad Stadium.
The Bayern Munich head coach, who won 14 trophies during his four-years in charge at Camp Nou, was confirmed as Manuel Pellegrini’s successor last week.
Confirmation of Guardiola’s next destination has prompted speculation that a number of high-profile Barcelona stars, including the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, will join their former boss in the Premier League.
On Tuesday, Sergio Busquets confirmed Guardiola was the only person, aside from his wife, who could convince him to leave Barcelona, but Luis Enrique is not concerned by the constant stream of rumours.
"I don’t see Guardiola at City as a menace for our players," he said when asked about Guardiola’s reported interest in Busquets. "It is a question for Guardiola and Busquets, not for Luis Enrique.
"Busquets was rested against Levante. He was one of the players who has played the most minutes this season and that shows how important he is for us, he is a top player.
"I won’t hail him anymore because we already know his importance to the team."
