A 27 year-old Florida man, Patrick Shurod Campbell was booked into Palm Beach County’s Main Detention Centre, for allegedly abusing his canine, Dimitri.
Authorities acquired a grievance in regards to the abuse after a 911 caller reported listening to “slamming noises” from Campbell’s condo, in line with the arrest report, studies Law & Crime.
Policemen arrived and talked to the suspect’s roommates. They mentioned the noise was attributable to Campbell disciplining the canine, including that “he beat the hell out of him.”

It was later decided the canine appeared to have sustained a laceration close to the underside of the ear.
Upon questioning, Campbell admitted to biting the canine “to establish domice.”
The arrest report goes on to element that, after he was Mirandized (knowledgeable of his authorized rights), Campbell mentioned he had acquired a textual content message that Dimitri escaped the closet and destroyed objects within the condo, together with a pack of cigarettes.
Upon returning to the condo, he confronted the canine with an alternative pack of cigarettes, and tried grabbing Dimitri by the neck so as to self-discipline him.
