Each of the 188 people referred to Tesla by Wei will receive a $1,000 discount on their Model S purchase.As for Wei himself, he is set to walk away with the keys to a range-topping Tesla Model S P90D with the Ludicrous Speed Upgrade and worth around $130,000. Additionally, Wei will receive a $3,000 Tesla Powerwall and an invitation for 2 to attend the launch of the Model 3 and the opening of Tesla's Gigafactory.Alongside Wei receiving a Model S P90D and Tesla Powerwall as the best referrer worldwide, the first to reach 10 referrals in each region also receive the same prize. According to a commentator at Electrek, who just so happens to be leading the referrals program in North America, the program may have resulted in over 5,000 sales for Tesla in just two months.
