Manchester United striker James Wilson has been allowed join Championship side Derby County on loan for the season.
Wilson made his United debut in the penultimate game of the 2013-14 season, scoring twice in a 2-0 win against Hull City under then-interim manager Ryan Giggs.
Louis van Gaal was put in charge over the following summer and Wilson remained a member of the first team squad, making 13 league appearances that year, before he was sent out on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion for the 2015-16 campaign.
And the 20-year-old will return to the Championship this term, after it was confirmed he will team up with Derby.
"We’re delighted to have agreed to bring James Wilson the club on a season-long loan," Rams manager Nigel Pearson told the club's website.
"I hope that this loan deal will prove to be mutually beneficial for all parties and I would like to place on record our thanks to Manchester United for allowing James to join us.
"He is an energetic player who will add to our existing attacking options."
Derby drew 0-0 with Aston Villa on Saturday and their next match is on Tuesday against Carlisle United in the EFL Cup.
