The English midfielder has formed part of a youthful core at Spurs this season and says many other fans are keen for Mauricio Pochettino's men to lift the Premier League trophy
Ryan Mason believes neutrals want Tottenham to win the Premier League this season.
Leicester City's fairytale rise to the top of the standings has shocked many onlookers, with many neutral fans hoping that Claudio Ranieri's side can win their first Premier League crown.
Mason, though, maintains that Mauricio Pochettino's approach to the game and his promotion of young players is unique, and has subsequently won admirers from across the country, with Spurs only two points behind the Foxes in second.
"If you're a fan of football you can only enjoy what's going on here," he told reporters after a youthful Spurs side beat Fiorentina 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday.
"The gaffer is bringing in young players, like tonight with Josh [Onomah] and Winksy [Harry Winks]. There's not many other clubs in top-flight football doing that and we're doing so well, obviously he's doing something right and the club's doing something right. Hopefully we can carry on."
Pochettino took over at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2014 and guided the club to a fifth-placed finish and the League Cup final in his first season, with Spurs now looking likely to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 2010.
The club are 10 points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United but Mason insists that the club's young squad are just getting started, and has warned Spurs' rivals that next season will be even better in north London.
"Last season we showed glimpses of the way we were going about it and this season we've kicked on again. I'm sure next season we'll be even better and we'll gain more experience. At the minute, we're relishing the opportunities and enjoying every game," he added.
"At this stage of the season, every game is crucial and hopefully we can put in good performances and get good results.
"Obviously we're up there at the minute but we know football is a funny game and things can change. We're just focussing on each game as it comes and enjoying the moment. Hopefully we'll keep it going as soon as possible."
Spurs face Swansea City at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
