WASHINGTON – After being out of the public eye for a number of weeks, first girl Melania Trump is predicted to reemerge alongside her husband Monday to host a reception for Gold Star households.
The occasion, which can happen this afternoon at the White House, can be closed to the press.
The first girl hasn't made a public look since May 14, when she underwent a profitable process to deal with a benign kidney situation. Her extended absence set off a flurry of controversy in the media.

The 48-year-old ultimately took to Twitter to allay public considerations.
"I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing. Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!"

Meanwhile, Melania Trump's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, mentioned earlier that the first girl has been assembly with employees and dealing on tasks at the White House.
But Grisham says the first girl won't be accompanying her husband this week at the G7 summit. Likewise, she can even be skipping the upcoming assembly with North Korea's Kim Jong Un.
The G7 summit is scheduled to happen on Friday and Saturday in Quebec. President Donald Trump will then meet with Kim on June 12 in Singapore. It's the first leaders' summit between the United States and North Korea, that are nonetheless formally at battle.
