The Albiceleste captain singled out Patricio Toranzo, who has undergone minor amputations in his left foot, and two others as he sent his well wishes back to South America
Barcelona star Lionel Messi has sent a message of solidarity to Argentine club Huracan, whose players were injured after their team bus was overturned following a Copa Libertadores match in Venezuela.
Patricio Toranzo and Diego Mendoza both sustained injuries, with the former having to have partial amputations on four of the toes on his left foot. A source confirmed to Goal Argentina, however, that the 33-year-old will be able to play again.
An Argentina native, Messi took to Facebook to express his support for the team. He said:
"To Huracan FC, stay strong! I support you, your players and coach team, especially Pato Toranzo, Diego Mendoza and Pablo Santella, I wish for you to get well soon. Hugs for all of you".
