It was all glitz and glam as top celebs and personalities attended the official launch of Jacaranda Casino at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos on Friday September 18 2015. It was an exclusive, special and landmark event anchored by Cool FM's OAP, Freeze.
The A-list event which had in attendance some of Nigeria’s finest Nollywood and musical stars including MI Abaga and Iceprince, Nollywood actor and producer, Kunle Afolayan and owner of Quilox night club, Shina Peller among other notable personalities.

The guests strutted their stuff on the purple carpet as they were welcomed by the beautifully decked hostesses into the relaxing ambience and beautiful décor of the casino.
The ceremonial opening of the casino was done by Lanre Gbajabiamila, Chairman,Lagos State Lottery Commission supported by the Chairman of Sheraton Hotel, Mr Felix Ibru, the Group Managing Director Jacaranda, John Storey and Yahaya Maikori.
The opening of the Jacaranda casino in Lagos makes it the fourth in Nigeria having already opened in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Owerri with the aim of providing unparalleled entertainment for its guests in Lagos.
The VVIP Guests got free chips to play for the night and the winnings from the game were theirs to keep.
As stated by the Group Managing Director of Jacaranda casino, “internationally, Jacaranda is arguably the king of gaming and here, everybody is a winner when you come to Jacaranda casino”. He went on to explain that plans are ongoing to have at least 3 more casinos in the city of Lagos as they have already began scouting for prime locations in Lagos before they branch out to other states as they have done in time past.
The casinos would also help in job creation as most of those employed will be Nigerians with positive chain reactions on the economy” he commented.
