The West Ham attacker's celebration against Sunderland was reminiscent of a famous scene from everyone's favourite cartoon character
Michail Antonio added his name to the pantheon of bizarre celebrations with his hilarious tribute to Homer Simpson on Saturday.
The West Ham winger burst inside the Sunderland defence to slot a fine effort into the bottom corner before setting off to the corner flag and partaking in one of our favourite celebrations in recent memory.
Reminiscent of The Simpsons character's famous outburst of joy, Antonio jumped to the floor before attempting to run around in circles with his team-mates watching on in amusement.
The former Nottingham Forest midfielder had apparently told the rest of the Hammers squad his planned celebration the night before but had refused to believe he would actually go through with the bizarre move.
He said: "I thought up the celebration in my hotel room but when I told the boys they said I wouldn't have the guts to do it, but I did!"
Keep up the good work, Michail!
