Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho insists his side are still aiming to win the Premier League title this season despite an indifferent start to the campaign.
The Red Devils went into Wednesday night's clash at Crystal Palace already 13 points behind leaders Chelsea and having already lost three times.
United are also six points off fourth place and look to have a battle on their hands just to secure Champions League football for next season but Mourinho claims they are aiming higher.
"The aim is to be champions, that’s the destination," he told BT Sport ahead of kick-off at Crystal Palace.
"This season the distance is a considerable distance.
"Even if you have a good run of results, you are always depending upon what the others are doing.
"We are going to try, we are still in the fight."
