Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has described Nigeria’s democracy as “fragile” as he urged security agencies not to hunt the opposition.
The country has witnessed mass defections by politicians as the 2019 elections draw closer.
Murray-Bruce who said this in a video shared on his social media handle, defections by politicians is a normal occurrence which should not be allowed to impede the democratic process in the country.
As stated by him, “Democracy in Nigeria is very fragile. Using security agencies to hound the opposition is something that should not be done. ”
