Regular viewers of African Independent Television (AIT) must have come across a Yoruba movie titled 'Atupa Emi', written and produced by Temitope Oluwa.

The producer of the movie has filed a law suit against the popular TV station for airing her movie without securing proper authorization.

The actress filed the whopping N5 million lawsuit with the help of her attorney, MA Bashua & Co. in November 2012 but AIT has refused to respond.

When asked why she instituted such a huge claim, hear what the actress said: "I don't have much to say but I have instituted a legal case against AIT over an infringement on my rights as a citizen and as the copyright owner of Atupa Emi, which is illegally been aired on their medium."

Below is a scanned copy of the lawsuit letter the actress sent across to media houses yesterday.

Apparently, the lawsuit letter was served last year and after AIT refused to respond, Queen Temitope Oluwa through her lawyers took the case to court.
