The International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Friday brought back to a fresh batch of 155 Nigerians stranded in Libya after their attempt to crossover to Europe for greener pastures.
The returnees were received by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos state.
Segun Afolayan, who welcomed the returnees on behalf of NEMA Director General, Mustapha Maihaja, urged them to utilise the new opportunities to restart a new life in their fatherland.
After profiling by the emergency agency, the returnees comprised of 41 female adults, including five pregnant women; one female child and a female infant, as well as 107 male adults, three male children and two male infants.
