The new 3-Eleven is not only the fastest model from Lotus, however, also its most expensive in street-legal trim.
, the 3-Eleven is offered in two versions, Road and the track-only Race, and it's priced between £82,500 and £116,500 (equal to $118,800 / $167,800) including VAT and depending on specification. Only 311 units will be built.
The 3-Eleven comes seriously close to hypercar territory in terms of performance, as in Race trim, it has 460hp and a dry weight of 890kg (1,962lb) resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 517hp per tonne. In this specification, it needs less than 3 seconds to reach 60mph (96km/h), six seconds to go to 100mph (160km/h) and has top speed of 180mph (290km/h).
The Road model boosts 410hp that allows for a 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 174mph (280km/h).
"I know that anyone who is fortunate enough to drive a 3-Eleven will be blown away by the performance that only adding lightness and power can give", said the company' CEO, Jean-Marc Gales.
Built on what is said to be a bespoke chassis, the Lotus 3-Eleven's stopping power comes from AP Racing four-piston calipers with two-piece grooved and vented brake discs, in both versions, while the Race adds upgraded brake pads.
The Lotus 3-Eleven will be sold in Europe and Asia as a Road car and in all markets as a Race car. Full pricing details for the UK market can be seen below.
