Mercedes is developing a two-door version of the fresh E-Class with our spies catching them during the act.
Under the heavy camouflage is another elegant coupe that will follow the latest Mercedes design language. That means that the new E-Class Coupe will be styled in a similar way with the S-Class Coupe and C-Class Coupe.
Don’t let the cladding fool you; the rear end is expected to be as clean as those of its relatives, with a set of slim LED taillights and the star in the middle. Expect to see the same semi-autonomous tech that debuted in the saloon and the same fancy dashboard enhanced with the obligatory sporty touches for the occasion.
As ever, engines and transmissions of the sedan are going to be mirrored in this coupe version, meaning a wide range of petrol and diesel engines. A plug-in hybrid version is also on the cards.
There is no info on whether Mercedes will offer the new E-Class Coupe in an AMG version however, we do know that a soft-top convertible version will debut on a afterwards date.
