A Nigerian couple recognized as Ifeanyi and Ngozi Akpa have been arrested for assaulting their 13-year-old relative, Chigozie Ogbu.
The Delta State Police Command arrested the couple on Friday, upon studying of the assault.
It was gathered that one Comrade Friday Okpalo reported the couple to the police after he learnt that the boy is being meted with extreme punishments on a every day foundation.
Sources claimed the boy is the nephew of Ifeanyi Akpa, who's a father of 4 youngsters.
