Commander, Nigerian Army Women Corps (WAWC), Maj-Gen. Preye Fakrogha has urged female officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army to be very confident in themselves when they discharge their constitutional duties.
Col. Izimdu Idimah, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 1 Division, Nigeria Army, Kaduna, revealed that Preye Fakrogha disclosed this when the major general visited the Division on Thursday in Kaduna.
According to him, the female soldiers need to always contribute their quota towards achieving the goals of the Nigerian Army.
He added that this will justify the establishment of the women corps.
Maj Gen. Preye also said even if the Nigerian Army Women Corps (WAWC) is still young, it has a special training programme that can take the women officers and soldiers to greater heights.
He then thanked the commander for the visit.
