Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media. Facebook
Nigerians have roundly condemned Femi Adesina, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari over a comment about abducted girl Leah Sharibu.
Adesina had told Channels TV that only God knows where Sharibu who was abducted by Boko Haram insurgents some months back will be rescued.
The statement had irked many Nigerians who went on to micro-blogging site Twitter to describe it as insensitive.
Famzn News captured some of the tweets below:
Femi Adesina shouldn’t be laughing this much during an interview where he is mainly talking about a kidnapped teenager, Lean Sharibu who has been in captivity for month.

Femi Adesina's response, when asked How mush longer will #LeahSharibu be in the hand of the Boko Haram abductors, by Maope on @channelstv #sunrisedaily was:
he thinks that that question can only be answered by God. ????I don't remember when Nigerians voted God as President. pic.twitter.com/kEevsJmzWx

We all know Femi Adesina before now. I still believe he is still of sound mind. Instead of attacking him, we should be planning of rescuing him from President Muhammadu Buhari. Who knows, we can still rehabilitate him.
Free #LeahSharibu

Dear sir, @MBuhari, do you really send the likes of Femi Adesina to speak on your behalf? Are you really aware of the damage from their use of words or you are just interested in cartoons?
Sighs..

Femi Adesina speaking on Buhari's behalf today
-Only God Can Tell When Leah Sharibu Will Return.-The President is a reticent man, when he needs to speak, he speaks
-In negotiations, particularly for hostages to be released, payments are made all over d worldWe're on autopilot
